GoMacro bars have less sugar than Clif Bars but more sugar than Kind Bars. Most of that is added sugar in the form of brown rice syrup. GoMacro Bars have between 10 and 15 grams of total sugar per bar. That said, the sweeteners and high-glycemic ingredients still make me a little wary… So let’s cover sugar next. They are also free of the worst processed oils and sugars. They are organic, and there are no artificial sweeteners or colors. Overall, GoMacro ingredients are clearly made to appeal to the conscious consumer. (Plus, it’s not even clear if organic food is better for the environment.) Granted, it’s not as processed as something like high-fructose corn syrup… But personally, I don’t like this.
